Sarah has worked in theatre for over twenty-five years. From July 2025, she will cover the maternity leave for Chief Operating Officer, Lettie Graham, at KWP. Most recently she worked as Interim Executive Director at the Young Vic, a role that she previously held for 6 months in 2021/22.

Previous organisations include the Orange Tree Theatre, Sheffield Theatres, Gate Theatre, Donmar Warehouse and numerous roles at the National Theatre including producing, R&D and commercial transfers and touring. Prior to theatre Sarah worked in advertising, recruitment and publishing.

In a freelance capacity, Sarah works as a facilitator and recruiter. Other work includes supporting managing change and strategic planning. Sarah supports individuals new to leadership and senior management roles, providing regular check-ins and practical support when necessary. Organisations over the past five years include: Gate Theatres (Dublin and Camden), Unicorn Theatre, National Theatre, Regents Park Open Air Theatre, Wiltshire Creative, Leeds Playhouse, Mountview Drama School and Tara Theatre.

Sarah is a trained mediator with a current focus on the workplace in the theatre sector.

Sarah recently joined the Royal Theatrical Fund (RTF) Board and is the Chair of the Board for the Stephen Joseph Theatre in Scarborough.
