The mysterious and fabulously wealthy Phileas Fogg wagers his life’s fortune that he can circumnavigate the globe in just 80 days. With his loyal valet, Passepartout, he voyages from the misty alleys of Victorian London to the exotic subcontinent and the Wild West in a race against the clock.
A cast of eight played over 125 characters in this imaginative, high-spirited escapade including six trains, five boats, four fights, three dances, two circus acts and an elephant!
Around the World in 80 Days played its first performance at the Theatre Royal, Nottingham, in July 2017, before touring the UK. The show has also toured internationally, performing at the New Victory Theatre, New York and Asolo Rep, Florida in 2019.
Around the World in 80 Days won the Cameo Award for ‘Best Page to Stage’ in 2018 and was nominated for Best New Production’ at the UK Theatre Awards and ‘Best Show for Children and Families’ at the Manchester Theatre Awards in 2014.
